ENTRANCE FEES

•Vanderbilt Mansion admission is $10 per person.

•Tickets and visitor information are available in the Visitor Center located in the building near the parking lot.

•Children 15 and under are Free

•The Grounds and Formal Gardens are free and open everyday from sunrise to sunset

PASSES

•The Interagency Annual, Annual 4th Grade, Senior, Access and Active Duty U.S. Military Passes are either sold or issued and honored at all the National Park Service sites in Hyde Park. Please see the fee collector for more information on the passes.

Annual Pass

•$80 annual pass

•Available to everyone.

•Can be obtained in person at a federal recreation site, or by calling 1-888-ASK USGS (1-888-275-8747), Ext. 3 (Hours of operation are: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Mountain time), or online.

•Non-transferable.

2018 Military Pass

Free Annual Military Pass (Active Duty)

•Available to U.S. military members and dependents in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard and also, Reserve and National Guard members.

•Must be obtained in person at a Federal recreation site by showing a Common Access Card (CAC) or Military ID (Form 1173).

Annual 4th Grade Pass

•Available to U.S. 4th graders (including home-schooled and free-choice learners 10 years of age) with a valid Every Kid in a Park paper pass.

•The pass is valid for the duration of the 4th grade school year through the following summer (September-August).

•Paper passes can be obtained by visiting the Every Kid in a Park website and can be exchanged for the Annual 4th Grade Pass atFederal recreation sites that charge Entrance or Standard Amenity fees. Digital version of the paper pass (such as on smart phones or tablets) will not be accepted to exchange for an Annual 4th Grade Pass.

•The pass is non-transferable.

Senior Passes

  1. $80 Lifetime Senior Pass - This is a lifetime pass for U.S. citizens or permanent residents age 62 or over. Proof of age is required (U.S. Passport or state-issued driver's license / I.D. card is acceptable). The pass provides access to, and use of, Federal recreation sites that charge an Entrance or Standard Amenity. The pass admits the pass holder and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle at per vehicle fee areas and pass holder + 3 adults, not to exceed 4 adults, at per person fee areas (children under 16 are admitted free). The pass can only be obtained in person at the park. The Senior Pass provides a 50 percent discount on some Expanded Amenity Fees charged for facilities and services such as camping, swimming, boat launch, and specialized interpretive services. In some cases where Expanded Amenity Fees are charged, only the pass holder will be given the 50 percent price reduction. The pass is non-transferable and generally does NOT cover or reduce special recreation permit fees or fees charged by concessionaires.
  2. Note: Golden Age Passports are no longer sold. However, these passes will continue to be honored according to the provisions of the pass.
